Painting When Selling Your Home

Painting When Selling Your Home

Selling your home can be difficult and there are lots of things that you can do to make your home stand out to consumers. Set your home apart by painting the walls in updated neutrals and on trend colors to help each potential buyer remember each room. All open areas should be painted the exact same color especially in the living and dining room. Painting walls the same color is traditional but using different shades of the same color will help with the flow of the house and make it more appealing. Imagine walking down a hall way towards double doors that are open, there is no doubt that you want to be drawn into that room, a little color could help with that.

You can choose a color from a paint chip or you can mix colors (most stores do) especially if you want a lighter color you can always add white. The beauty of this method is that all colors are custom made and a potential buyer will like the fact that the colors are not the same in someone else’s home. Those who branch out and are confident in their color pick have no problem mixing cool and warm colors. A neutral wall color with a cool ceiling color and warm trim color is absolutely beautiful. The effecting will be soothing because the colors are all very muted and soft, but this blog isn’t about moods.

Make selling your home a little bit easier by making it more captivating when comes to selling it, or even when you buy it. A little paint can make a huge difference and make the selling process a little bit easier. Either way we are more than willing to assist you in any way that we can, we also do pressure washing and wall paper removal, but that a different blog on a different day.
